For marine tie application SAS thread bars are used as tie rods (horizontal tie rods between two sheet pile walls or as connection to dead man sheet piles) and as ground anchors for retaining walls (sheet piles, soldier piles and secant bore piles). Due to the continuous thread over the total length, cutting and coupling at any length of the installed tie rods is possible. Various accessories such as plates, nuts, couplers and turn buckles are available to meet different project requirements.
Main advantages:
- High strength steel bars with continuous thread in steel quality SAS 670 grade 95
- Diameter range from 18-75 mm with working loads from 97-1691 kN
- Cutting or extending at any position possible
- Individual customized lengths available
- Wide range of accessories for different applications such as tie rods, anchors, soil nails, micropiles, tunnelling, etc
- All bars can be offered with different corrosion protection such as hot-dipped galvanized, epoxy coated, heat shrink sleeves, etc
- A large stock guarantees quick delivery
- ISO 9002 certified production
Not all accessories are available for all threadbar diameters. Please call for assistance. All threaded accessories are of grade S355J2G3, the plates are of grade S235JR. Bars and accessories can be supplied black, galvanized or epoxy coated.
